The Philippines, Our 2 Week Itinerary
We are always ones for spontaneous travel, and this trip to the Philippines was exactly that! Island and waterfall hopping, surfing, chilling, exploring and eating.
Diving Australias Best Wreck site the SS Yongala
Diving Australia's and one of the World's Best Dive Sites, the SS Yongala. A short 30 minute boat trip out to the wreck and we were diving with all things BIG! Giant Trevally, Queensland Gropers, Humphead Maori Wrasse, Sea Snakes, Turtles, Giant Marble Rays you name it...An experience we will never forget!
Airlie Beach, Whitsundays, Great Barrier Reef
We were in Airlie Beach for a week, and started this visit with a BANG! It was all thanks to our beautiful friend Ange that a bunch of us gals ended up spending three nights in a luxury penthouse perched on a hill in the stunning location of Airlie Beach for her birthday!
The Best of Fraser Island in a day
We took day trip from Hervey Bay to the worlds largest sand island - FRASER ISLAND and had a blast! We saw highlights such as the SS Maheno, Lake Mckenzie, Eli Creek, Seventy Five Mile Beach, Wanggoolba Creek in Central Station Rainforest along with some dingos, kookaburras and whales!
What an incredibly unique and naturally beautiful place in the world.
TOP 3 reasons to visit Tangalooma Wrecks off-season and on a budget
One of the coolest island experience we've had so far! We took a ferry from Brisbane Port over to the Tangalooma Wrecks on the west side of Moreton Island. We pitched our tent right off the beach at the completely empty campsite 'The Wrecks' and enjoyed two full days of snorkelling around the sunken ships, sun baking on the beach and eating snacks!
