We took day trip from Hervey Bay to the worlds largest sand island - FRASER ISLAND and had a blast! We saw highlights such as the SS Maheno, Lake Mckenzie, Eli Creek, Seventy Five Mile Beach, Wanggoolba Creek in Central Station Rainforest along with some dingos, kookaburras and whales!

TOP 3 reasons to visit Tangalooma Wrecks off-season and on a budget

One of the coolest island experience we've had so far! We took a ferry from Brisbane Port over to the Tangalooma Wrecks on the west side of Moreton Island. We pitched our tent right off the beach at the completely empty campsite 'The Wrecks' and enjoyed two full days of snorkelling around the sunken ships, sun baking on the beach and eating snacks!
